The Manitoba Schools Science Symposium (MSSS) is the largest annual science event held for students throughout Manitoba. MSSS is held the final week of April at the University of Manitoba and is open to all students from grades 4 to 12.
Each year, some 550 young scientists attend MSSS to present their research to top scientists and industry experts. The student participants can present their work in nine divisions and four age categories for medals, specials awards, scholarships, program enrollments and trips worth over $30,000.

Canadian Science Fair Journal: Call for Submissions
The Canadian Science Fair Journal is a new publication that showcases science fair projects by children and youth from across the country. Their goal is to build an online community of young STEM minds by providing a space for emerging researchers to discuss and share their work, as well as to gain experience in scientific publishing.
At the moment the CSFJ is calling for submissions for their inaugural issue. If you’re interested in submitting your work to the CSFJ please send them an e-mail along with a short biography, including your age and hometown. The deadline for submissions is July 15th.
